Characteristics of Christian Virtues

Nov. 13
Always keep the eyes of the mind, as a prototype and model modesty of the divine Master; modesty of Jesus Christ that the apostle, in the words to the Corinthians, placed flush with meekness, which was one of his most cherished virtues and nearly his characteristic virtue: "I, Paul, I urge you by the meekness and modesty Christ "; and, in the light of such a perfect model reform all your external actions, which is the faithful mirror that shows your inner inclinations.
Never forget, oh Anita, this divine model; Imagine you contemplate some kind majesty in his presence; certain pleasant authority in his speech; some nice composure in his walk, in his look, in speech, in his talk; certain sweet serenity in the face; Imagine the face of that face so calm and so sweet with attracting to itself the crowds, the pulled out of the cities and villages, taking them to the mountains, the forests, lonely places, deserted beaches and the sea, forgetting even eating, drinking and domestic obligations.
Yes, let us try to copy us, as we possibly can, such modest actions as decorous; and let us, as it is possible, like Him in time, to be then more perfect and more like Him for eternity in the heavenly Jerusalem.

Characteristics of Christian Virtues

Sometimes life and society are leading us down paths that we have yet to go against our own will. Standards or learned patterns of behavior do we go forging a personality that at least abroad, we bring up a certain way to others. The person to be a mimetic being essentially turns to learning and data recording everything learned to implement mind back to the rules of conduct that must be. Similarly a person who discovers true Christian, that is identified with Jesus Christ and follower of Jesus Christ is one that never forgets and never under any circumstances is a reflection of God's love. That is, the projection of Jesus Christ himself. This can only be achieved by learning the virtues of the Divine Master. That is, knowing him, watching him, listening, obeying and serving him always at his feet. This will make the true disciple go changing, go cristificando, ie go saturating the presence of God in one's life, being filled with the grace of God is always present and active so that in this way anywhere where a Christian will find the attitudes of Jesus Christ to manifest.
It is necessary, therefore, to notice the lofty dignity that every Christians possess. This dignity must be characterized by discretion, shape behavior, generosity and how to talk to others, and above all and above all how to love and serve our brothers.

What is the ultimate purpose of your life?

Nov. 12
To get to reach our ultimate goal is necessary to follow the divine Head, who does not usually lead to different path chosen by the soul he ran; by in, I mean, abnegation and the Cross: "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." And you should not call so fortunate to see addressed by Jesus? Fool who can not penetrate the secret of the cross.
To reach the port of salvation, the Holy Spirit tells us, the souls of the elect must pass and purified in the fire of painful humiliations, such as gold and silver in the crucible, and thus saves the atonement of the afterlife: "stand firm in the suffering and setbacks in your humiliation be patient. For in the fire gold and silver is refined; men and acceptable to God, in the way of humiliation. "
Jesus wants us holy at all costs, but mostly wants to sanctify you. He is continually manifesting what you; seems to have no other concern at hand to sanctify your soul.Oh !, how good Jesus! Continuous junctions subjected to you, giving you the strength not only necessary but abundantly, to support them with merit, they are very true and most particular of his endearing love for you signs. The strength that he gives you, believe me, is not barren in you; I assure you from God and you must listen humbly aside any feeling against you.

  (August 15, 1914, to Raffaelina Cerase - Ep II, p. 153.)

What is the ultimate purpose of your life? That should be the question we constantly have to make us all Christians. It is necessary to not only stay with the question, but first and foremost with the response What PrGunTa answer to this? It should be a charged sense of faith, hope and love because these are the very characteristics of a Christian response. Herein is to follow Christ, to die to ourselves so that each day our actions, our lives and the survival of the virtues listed above, Christ Jesus, brightness of the glory of the Father, also shine in us. This is not achieved neither by goodwill, not by magic or anything other than a real encounter with Jesus Christ. A renewing, healing, purifying encounter. We must go through the fire to get clean, pure and spotless in the eyes of God, so our whole life is a constant renunciation of our attachments, but at the same time is to open ourselves to the presence, the love and mercy of God that is always there to favor us. You realize how much more is what we receive that we can leave, or what we can give. Sure, why ask the Eternal Father of mercies, Maker of heaven and earth to always be aware of your inspirations and ready to execute. You see so shine that bright light in the midst of a world full of darkness and pain, in which You will become a sign of the love and presence of God as we promised her Divine Son, be every day -we until the end of the world.

Fear not, I am your protector

November 4
Covet daughters, proud without anxiety, the best way to perform with perfection what you have and want to do; but, once made, do not think about it anymore, but Concern yourselves only what you should or want to do and what you are doing. Walk with ease in the ways of the Lord and not torment your spirit. It is necessary, yes, your defects hate each other, but with a quiet and not a hate hate and restless. We must be patient with the faults and take advantage of them by a holy resignation.
Without this patience, my good daughters, your imperfections, rather than diminish, grow more and more, because there is nothing to feed both our faults as anxiety and concern for them away. Remember, girls, I'm an enemy of useless desires, no less than I am from the dangerous and evil desires; because if it is true that what you want is good, but that desire is always defective in relation to ourselves, especially when mixed with a proud concern, since God does not require this kind of property, but others, who wants us to exercise us.
He wants to talk among thorns, briars, clouds and lightning, as Moses; and we want you to talk a whisper sweet and fresh, as did Elijah. But, what do you fear, my daughters? Listen to our Lord says to Abraham, and to you, "Fear not, I am your protector." Because what else on earth if you seek not God?

(March 8, 1918, the sisters Ventrella - Ep. III, p 576.)

Simplicity and humility are the hallmark of the true disciples of Jesus. It is true that these virtues are not the easiest to practice, moreover, the easiest to acquire, however opening the mind and heart are gradually becoming a way of life for those people that are practicing. It is necessary, therefore, to set aside our shortcomings and pay more attention to the virtues, knowing that they come from God and is the Spirit who strengthens them, however, ever turn our attention to our shortcomings only favors strengthening thereof. It is certainly necessary to be realistic, however, is neither good nor acceptable to God putting all the attention on that which often is only the fruit of our attention. The advantage of focusing our attention on the virtues in faults, is undeniably healthy acceptance thereof and therefore the put at the service of our brothers. Humility is recognizing that whatever good we do comes from God who gives us the grace to live it and practice it. Discovering because God always with us in the midst of the vicissitudes of life and let us realize that he is closer to us than ourselves, and that even in the midst of darkness and unease is there to console us, strengthen us, to love. In a word it is He who cares for us, protects us and delivers us from all evil. Trust him and he will act. Put your hands kindly blessed all the concerns of your heart and let him caress that is always attentive to your needs and find the beautiful, the beautiful, the grandiose and the sovereign God is with you.
