Exercise caution in the pursuit of eternal life

Knowing the potential indignity, that is to know what would be or what we could do without the assistance of grace, and we've talked about so far, not to be confused with the current indignity.
The first makes the creature acceptable and pleasing in the eyes of the Almighty, the second makes detestable, because it reflects the evil present in the soul, in consciousness.
You, in the darkness in which you find most of the time, confound each other, and the knowledge of what you may be, and are afraid that what is only possible in you.
Ignoring before God if you are worthy of love or hatred, and suffering is not a punishment, because no one really fears being unworthy when it wants to be or is. Such uncertainty is allowed by God to all human beings, so it does not engrían and to walk with caution in attaining eternal salvation.
