If you love wealth, you will find the greatest treasure

 
January 7Our Lord loves you, my little one, and loves you dearly, and if he sometimes does not make you feel the sweetness of this love, it is to take a greater humility and you know more realize how insignificant you are . But why not let your holy resorting kindness with confidence, particularly in the time that we represent as a little child in Bethlehem. Because, my little one, why he clings to this condition but sweet and kind to bring us to love boldly and lovingly surrender to it?Stay close to the birthplace of this funny child, especially in these holy days of their birth. If you love wealth, you will find the gold that the wise men left him, if you love the smoke of honors, you will find that incense, and if you love the subtleties of the senses, feel the fragrant myrrh that perfumes the entire cave. Be rich with love for this child heavenly respectful familiarity you will have with him through prayer, and delicate all the joy of feeling in you the holy inspirations and affections to be yours alone.Keep the good spirit in regards to your little resentments and defects will, no doubt, and, if they fail, will be for you an exercise in humility and mortification.
