Christian perfection

 Suspicion of all those desires which, according to prudent and pious souls, can not achieve their objectives. Among them is to put the wishes of that Christian perfection, which may well be imagined but never practiced, and on which many give good lessons but no one takes practice. And likewise also the question leaving me you manifested in relation to what you say you've read in books. Think seriously about the vanity of the human spirit, prone to mistakes and troubled in itself, because I assure you that this consideration deducirás easily what I have said many times: that the inner workings that has tolerated and still stays with you some residue, have been caused in you by a multitude of considerations and desires produced by the great anxiety to reach that perfection as soon as imagined, that you mistakenly you had formed. Your imagination had formed in your mind an idea of absolute perfection, which you will want to go. But what happened? You well know. Will, frightened at the great difficulty and impossibility, became pregnant but unable to give birth, and so was useless multiplying desires, which, like flies, devoured the honeycomb, and good and true desires remained hungry for comfort . It was great to you that the good Lord have mercy on your soul and relieve you of them in time and through the guide to which you commit.
