Soul destined to salvation

May 1

The soul called to eternal glory it may be considered a stone building designed to lift the eternal. A builder who wants to build a house, start by polishing the stones that are to form part of the composition of the house, and all this was achieved with a hammer and chisel. Just as the heavenly Father acts in the chosen souls, which were destined from eternity for his supreme wisdom and foresight to make up the eternal building.
Therefore, the soul destined to reign with Christ in eternal glory must be polished with a hammer and chisel. But these blows of the hammer and chisel, which serves the divine artist to prepare the stones, ie the chosen soul, what are they? Sister, these blows of the chisel are the shadows, fears, temptations, afflictions of mind, spiritual tremors with a smell of desolation and physical discomfort.
Give thanks, then, to the infinite mercy of the eternal Father, who so trying your soul, because it is destined to salvation.
