Jesus is always with you, even when you think you do not feel it. And there is always so close to you, as when it is in the spiritual struggles. He is always there, near you, encouraging you to keep bravely in battle, is there to stop the blows of the enemy so they do not stay outraged.
For charity, so I pray for you is most sacred, that does not agravies suspicious, though slightly, which has been abandoned by him even for a moment. That is precisely one of the most satanic temptations, and you throw it away as soon as you realize it.
Be comforted, then, my dear, knowing that the joys of eternity will be both deeper and more intimate, the more days of humiliation and unhappy years in our present life count. This is not a way of seeing and thinking mine, is the scripture that gives us the infallible testimony. Here is what the Psalmist says about: "Give us back in the days joy humbled us, the years when we knew misfortune." And the Apostle Paul wrote in the letter to the Corinthians that a fleeting moment of our troubles can meriting glory in eternity beyond what we can imagine. Here are his exact words: "Indeed, the brief moment tribulation produces, on any measure, an eternal glory."
