Autumn has come: Harvesting the fruits of the Spirit.

 October 1

I see, dearest daughter, that all seasons are given in your soul, and sometimes feel the winter of sterility, distractions, and the tedium desganas, sometimes the dew of May with the perfume of holy flowers, sometimes colors the desire to please God. Do not take more than the fall, in which, as you know, do not grow many fruits, but it often happens that, to thresh the crops and pressing the grapes, one finds higher yields than promised harvest and vintage.
You, child, would you want that everything would be in a spring or summer, but not the daughter, it is necessary to give these vicissitudes inside and outside. Only in heaven will be spring all about beauty all about autumn joy, love everything about summer. There will not be any winter, but winter is necessary to exercise ourselves in self-denial and the thousand small and beautiful virtues, practiced in times of sterility.
